Buyer beware, this company will rip you off!

After the birth of our first child, my wife tried one of the online "work at home" offers. Attached to that offer was the requirement to sign up with Powerhouse Payments. Since then, they have been automatically takings $54.90 from our bank account each month. After I realized what had happened, I contacted Powerhouse payments and requested that they close our account. That was six months ago. Since then I have contacted Powerhouse payments three times and requested that our account be closed again each time, and I requested to be refunded the $54.90 charged each month since my first request. The account is still open and we are still being charged the $54.90 fee per month. Now when i call the company's 800 number and follow the automated promts to speak with a customer representative, I am automatically hung up on, without ever speaking to a person. Our only option now is to close our bank account to stop the automatic withdrawls. Other people who post comments on here may have had a good experience, all I know is that this company has basically been stealing our money for the past six months!
